SCARFSHOP scarves are dyed by hand in small batches in Minneapolis, MN.
Low impact materials and methods are used whenever possible.
Kettle dying in small batches gives our fabric a rich and mottled appearance. Because each scarf is dyed in small dye lots, a slight color variation will occur from batch to batch, and we think that’s actually kind of nice.
A very soft drapy knit fabric that ranges from slightly transparent to opaque, which gives a textural appearance-- like a cloud. Semi solid slightly mottled color with raw edges.
This is a zero waste product.
